Guide to the Library Files

This collection contains a large volume of files that pertain to many aspects of Montclair’s history. It includes a wealth of information on specific people, 
organizations and groups, as well as the town’s government, committees, and schools. The types of documents in this collection include (but are not limited to) receipts, financial records, legal documents, reports, articles, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, photographs, and correspondence.The majority of the documents were created during the mid-to late twentieth century.

Guide to the Montclair Dramatic Club Collection

The collection provides an excellent overview of the activities of the Montclair Dramatic Club. It includes administrative files, financial records, publicity information, sheet music, photographs, scripts, programs, and other publications. The materials date from 1871-1992.

Guide to the Dudley VanAntwerp Collection

This collection contains photographs, postcards, and other images documenting the life and career of Montclair architect, Dudley Van Antwerp (1867-1934). Photographs and postcards of homes designed by Dudley Van Antwerp make up the majority of this collection. Most of these images capture an exterior view of the homes, though some interior shots are available. Other photographs depict members of the Fenn and Van Antwerp families. Some written documents are also included, such as obituaries, written histories of Van Antwerp buildings, deeds, and wills.
